Adelaide Cup winner The Hind gained his jumping ticket when
he finished last in a hurdle trial at Oakbank yesterday but he won't be going over the
        sticks at Oakbank.
Lindsay Park's trainer Tony McEvoy said today he was
pleased with the way the gelding jumped.
"He did everything we asked from him," McEvoy
        said.
"He wasn't out there to do anything really special
anyway. We wanted him to get his ticket and he did."
McEvoy said the gelding will stick to the flat for now and
        contest the listed Onkaparinga Cup.
Plans for the gelding in the future take in the Nationals
in Melbourne so fans of waiting for his first official jumping start do have something to
look forward to during this season.
