 Collingrove Stud has won one of
Victoria's most prestigious awards when their top producing mare Biscay Bird was crowned
the Leading Broodmare of Victoria for the 2000-01 season.Biscay Bird's award win was announced at the Thoroughbred Breeders Victoria
Awards Night at Crown on Saturday night.
The Hayes and Sangster owned mare is the dam of the AJC
Derby hero Universal Prince.
Biscay Bird, a homebred mare, is a daughter of the top sire
Bluebird and is out of the Biscay mare Blooms.
She has just produced a bonny Grand Lodge filly and she is
now is foal to the champion Danehill.
