One of Australia's most popular racehorses of recent times Might and Power
has been inducted to the Australian Racing Hall of Fame in Melbourne tonight.
Might and Power was rated the world's best stayer in 1997 after taking
out the Caulfield-Melbourne Cups double.
He led all the way in both cups and this front-running style of racing
endeared him to race fans across the nation.
The following year he completed a unique treble when he led all the way
to win the Cox Plate.
He won 15 of his 33 career starts and earned more than $5 million in
prizemoney.
