Cyberhorse's brilliant Melbourne
        photographer Quentin Lang has been
recognised as one of the country's best by being the most represented in the Australian
Racing Calendar unveiled earlier this month. The
calendar, produced by the Moonee Valley Racing Club, is regarded as a must for all racing
        enthusiasts.
Lang, who's shots are featured in Cyberhorse's The Virtual
Formguide, also had the honour of being chosen to provide the front cover picture.
The shot of Northerly sweeping up to Sunline and Viscount
to win last year's Cox Plate was chosen to feature on the high selling publication.
Seven photographers had their work featured with a major
shot for the calendar, and Lang's work was featured four times, more than any other.
As well as providing the sensational front cover shot,
Lang's shots of Viscount winning the Bill Stutt Stakes and Elegant Fashion winning the
Moonee Valley Oaks were also featured.
An error by Valley officials has also seen one of Lang's
shots wrongly attributed to another photographer. The March 2003 photo of Toledo winning
the Australia Stakes is in fact one of Quentin's shots, not Ron Howarth's as marked.
Other shots were provided by Bronwen Healy, Ron Howarth,
Gary Wild, Bruno Canatelli, Slickpix and Mark Gatt.
Featuring the feature winners of the past season at Moonee
Valley, the calendar highlights the metropolitan meetings for Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane,
Adelaide and Perth as well as Victorian country meetings and Harness meets at the Valley.
Other special features include a list of the Australasian
Millionaires (Top 100 on Prizemoney), the Metro Jockey and Trainer Premierships,
Australasia's International Winners, all of the feature races for the 2002-03 season and
        the Australian Champion Racehorse Awards.
The calendar, which incorporates the racing season from
August 1, is available to puchase through the Moonee Valley Racing Club. It is selling for
$19 (inc GST), or posted for just $22. Credit card purchases are available - any queries
should be directed to Glenyse on (03) 9373 2228.
