Sunline, a dual Horse of the Year in Australia and New Zealand, dominations the
nominations for the Mercedes Racing Awards in her native country. Officials have released the finalists in most of the awards and
Sunline is among the finalists for the Weight-For-Age, Sprinter/Miler and Horse of the
Year section while her dam and owners are also in the running.
Ethereal, the Caulfield and Melbourne Cup champion, is also
in the running for the Weight-For-Age, Stayer and Horse of rthe Year sections.
This Saturday's Hiskens Steeplechase runners St. Steven and
Crafty Dancer are two of the four finalists for the jumping division.
