The fate of
Robbie Waterhouse's bookmaking career is set to be made clear this week when the outcome
of his appeal against a recent suspension and amount of fines. The New South Wales Thoroughbred Racing Board (NSW TRB) informed the media late
this afternoon that it's Appeals Panel will be handing down their decision on Thursday
"Please note the decision on the appeal of Mr Rob
Waterhouse is to be handed down by the Appeals Panel this Thursday (25 July 2002) at 11am
at the offices of the NSW TRB, Mascot," the statement said.
"Mr Waterhouses legal representatives have been
asked to attend," it concluded.
Waterhouse was originally suspended for two years and fined
$6,000 each on 13 other charges relating to the betting scandal involving Peter McCoy. |
