Two jockeys
were heavily fined were ranging offences at the provinicial Victoria meeting at Wodonga on
Saturday. Cameron Quilty was fined $500 after
stewards ruled that he had not ridden out a mount right the line, in the view of officials
costing the horse a better placing.
Quilty was charged after his ride aboard the third

Stewards noted in their report that they felt Quilty should
have finished second in the race and not third.
