Entries for
next year's $3 million AAMI Golden Slipper at Rosehill Gardens close next week. The first nomination fee for the world's richest juvenile event of
$300 is required to be paid up by 3pm next Tuesday.
This year's nominated runners will also have the chance to
contest a new race as three-year-olds in 2003.
As an added incentive to Slipper qualified runners the STC
will run a new $1 million race, the Golden Rose, in September 2003.
Any horses which are not in the original list of entries
and should wish to run in the Slipper would need to be classed as late entries. The last
entry fee for the Slipper is $120,000. The late fee for the Golden Rose a year later is
$50,000.
Any further details regarding nominations for the Golden
Slipper and Golden Rose should be directed to the Sydney Turf Club on (02) 9930 4000. |
