High class mare Paris Heartbeat bounced back to winning form
yesterday when she scored a hard fought win in the feature event at Doomben, the $101,000
Glenlogan Park Stakes (1350m). Trained by Gerald
Ryan, Paris Heartbeat was having just her second run this preparation.
Yesterdays win followed up her first up sixth to
Princess Clang at Eagle Farm a fortnight earlier.
With Brad Stewart in the saddle the five-year-old downed
the Clarry Conners trained four-year-old Snow Hero by a half length. The John Hawkes
trained Hot Riff was a length away in third place.
Paris Heartbeat, who is by Marooned and out of a Serheed mare,
notched up her twelfth win in yesterdays listed race.
From just 34 starts her prizemoney has now soared to nearly
$350,000.
