Victorian bred
Hong Kong based galloper Jeune King Prawn has drawn a favourable barrier for Sunday's
Yasuda Kinen (JPN-G1) in Japan. The Ivan Allan
trained son of Danehill is one of two Hong Kong based gallopers who will be contesting the
feature event on the weekend. The other is Red Pepper.
Jeune King Prawn, who was bred and sold by Toolern Vale
based breeding farm Tremon Thoroughbreds, drew barrier five for the race. His fellow Hong
Kong visitor drew the inside alley.
Already a Group One winning in Hong Kong, Jeune King Prawn
will be gunning for his first international feature event on Sunday.
The Yasuda Kinen has attracted a final field of eighteen
and they range in age from four to eight years. Jeune King Prawn is the only runner in the
field that was bred in the Southern Hemisphere. |
