Cup with a hard fought narrow win over Homewrecker in Saturday's Carlton Draught Stakes at
Morphettville.
The winner of the Group Two race over 2500
metres has a brilliant record when backed up in the Cup nine days later.
Last year's Adelaide Cup winner Apache King
stormed into Cup calculations after scoring in the Carlton Draught.
Others to take the double since 1980
include Yashmak, Dealer's Choice, Moss Kingdom, Lord Reims (twice), Ideal Centreman,
French Resort and Cronus.
