Leading international trainer Graeme Rogerson has
swept away with all the glory, and hundreds of thousands of dollars after another dominant
day at Wagga. Over the three day carnival Rogerson
prepared no less than 13 winners, including four on today's Cup programme.
Rogerson, who is hoping to win tomorrow's Australian Oaks
at Victoria Park with Gold Lottey, trained the winners of both feature events including
today's $100,000 Wagga Gold Cup.
Call Me Lily continued her good recent form by scoring a
great win in this afternoon's Cup. Her win game 24 hours after her classy stablemate
Century Kid lugged 63.5 kilograms to win the Town Plate.
Rogerson won a $200,000 trainers-owners bonus which was
offered for a trainer to win a set amount of races as well as one of the two feature
events - Rogerson won both!
