A fortnight later the $250,850 Feltex Carpets (SA) Oaks
will be run over 2500 metres at Morphettville. There were 58 nominations for this event.
Among the star entries are WA Oaks and Derby winner Honor

Lottey and Tully Thunder, recent Flemington winner Embraceable You and top class locals
Elathea, Gorgeous Guru, Twiggy Summit and Shanghai Moon.
The SAJC were pleased with the amount of interest from New
Zealanders. Trainers to nominate fillies included Colin Jillings, Graham Richardson, John
Wheeler and Michael Moroney.

their hat into the ring. Gai Waterhouse, Bart Cummings, Lee Freedman, Colin Alderson, John
