Encosta de
Lago's filly Lashed will have her first start for new connections in Melbourne tomorrow. Formerly owned by Lloyd Williams and trained by Myles Plumb the
filly was recently purchased by Sir Patrick and Lady Justine Hogan of Cambridge Stud. The
filly is now in the stable of Graeme Rogerson.
A last start winner at Sandown, Lashed had finished
unplaced at Sale and Echuca at his previous two runners.
The filly will clash with a number of likely types
including last start Caulfield winner Deputy Head and the promising Rick Hore-Lacy trained
galloper Dantana in the Out of Danger Handicap for two-year-olds.
Danny Nikolic, who rode the filly to her last start
success, will take the ride on the filly in the 1400 metre event. |
