Group One winner Sixty Seconds is now the outright favourite for Saturday's AJC Oaks at
Randwick in what is shaping as a real three horse war. Originally the Oaks was looked a match race in two between the Roger James
trained filly and the Tony McEvoy trained Moonee Valley Oaks winner Elegant Fashion.
However, last Saturday's impressive Randwick winner Republic Lass has burst into
contention.
Leading Melbourne bookmaker Michael Eskander has Sixty
Seconds marked as the favourite at $3.50, while both Elegant Fashion and Republic Lass are
on the second line of betting at $4.00.
Factional and Vapour Trail are the next picks at $10. |
