Stewards in
Hong Kong have denied Dwayne Dunn the chance of riding for David Hayes at Nad al Sheba on
Dubai World Cup Day after the South Aussie was suspended at Sha Tin on Sunday. Dunn lodged an appeal to have the ban deferred until after the
world's richest raceday to enable him to partner Helene Vitality in the Group One US$2
million Dubai Sheema Classic.
However, Stewards in Hong Kong, led by former Australian
John Schreck, said there was no reason to give into the talented hoop and he therefore
would miss the ride in the United Arab Emirates.
Permission was yesterday granted for fellow Hong Kong based
rider Gerald Mosse to take the ride on Helene Vitality for the Lindsay Park and
Collingrove Stud Director. |
