The two South Australian trained gallopers have stormed away with
the major prizes in this afternoon's $200,800 Magic Millions Perth 2YO Classic at Ascot in
Western Australia. Wyndam Glory, who's trained by
Lindsay Park's Tony McEvoy was always travelling like the winner and he thrashed his
rivals to win by four and three quarter lengths.
The beaten brigade was led home by the Adelaide filly
Rachael's Pride, who has now been the bridemaid in both Adelaide and Perth.
A colt by Rory's Jester, Wyndam Glory and Mark Zahra were
just too classy in the 1100 metre race ending a big day for Tony McEvoy.
Earlier in the afternoon McEvoy saddled up Elegant Fashion
to win the Group Two $251,000 AV Kewney Stakes at Flemington as well as Newmarket Handicap
runner-up North Boy.
The Lindsay Park winning form wasn't only restricted to
Perth and Melbourne. The stable unearthed the $700,000 yearling purchase Milanova
(Danehill-L'on Vite) to win the first race for two-year-olds at Cheltenham in Adelaide.
The stable also had a minor placing at Flemington with Stackaway, a last start debut
winner in South Australia.
