| A gunman opened fire at the
Hong Kong Jockey Club's off course betting branch late last night at the conclusion of the
local night meeting. No staff or customers were
injured during the incident in which three shots were fired at the betting counters.
A spokesman for the Hong Kong Jockey Club said a man
entered the Pak Tai Street premises just after 11pm (local time) and fired three shots
before fleeing.
The club reports there were no injuries and there was no
financial loss during the incident. |
