| The highlight on a huge
night's racing at Canterbury Park is the appearance of two boom visitors. The highly rated
New Zealand Derby winner Leica Guv will make his first Australian appearance in the
Canterbury Guineas while boom Brisbane filly Calaway Gal will start for the first time
outside Queensland in the Sweet Embrace Stakes. Golden
Slipper betting could twist a lot with both the Sweet Embrace and Skyline Stakes to be
run. The exception Paul Perry trained youngster Choisir looks set to start a long odds on
favourite in the Skyline, however many will remember Excellerator once started a hot
favourite and was beaten in the same race.

Maitland Gold, Omens, Crawl, Padstow, Victory Vein, Chuckle, Asia, Danasia, Carnegie
Express, Red Hannigan and Newquay.
