Oliver has this afternoon enjoyed a successful reunion with the Pat Hyland trained
Panoramic Lad when that partnership won the Carlton Draught Sale Cup. Starting the $3.50 favourite, Panoramic Lad showed his class with a
one and three quarter length win in the 1600 metre race.
Eagle Rhythm ($5.50), a last start Flemington winner was
second, just a head in front of the third placegetter Count Down ($11).
The second favourite Elkabayo ($4.80) beat only two runners
home finishing in twelfth place. |
