Conners has been slapped with a $500 fine after one of his gallopers was presented to race
at Caulfield today wearing the wrong shoes.
Carnebelle,
a winner at Wyong three runs back, was a late scratching from the Mahaasin Super VOBIS
Handicap (1400m) after is was noticed he was wearing heavy work shoes instead of racing
plates.
Heath Conners, the son of Clarry and the Melbourne stable
foreman was fined $500 by Stewards a short time later.
