Some of Australia's leading
jockeys will face Stewards over their dealings with a new website, Racewebb, launched this
week. The website, which charges $99 a year for
membership, gives paying subsribers "the inside information" on each jockey's
upcoming mount.
However, the website who's jockeys are among the best in
Australia and New Zealand, has rang alarm bells with the NSW TRB stewards.
Stewards will conduct interviews with a number of the
Australian riders at today's Warwick Farm races and the quizzing will continue tomorrow
night.
"The stewards do have some concerns and we will be
interviewing all involved in relation to this website at Warwick Farm," announced Mr
Kim Kelly, NSW TRB deputy chief steward.
"We will be again looking at interviewing the group at
Thursday night's Canterbury Park meeting," he added.
The Racewebb jockeys are Danny Beasley, Corey Brown, Michael
Coleman, Vinny Colgan, Darren Beadman, Noel Harris, Jim Cassidy, Larry Cassidy, Lance
O'Sullivan, Allan Robinson, Michael Walker, Brian York, Mark Sweeney and Chris Munce. |
