South Australian jockey Dwayne Dunn received some
great news today after having his Hong Kong riding licence extended for another six
months.
News of the decision by the Hong Kong Jockey
Club's licencing committee came just hours after her rode his 19th winner last night.
Dunn rode the Manfred Man trained Perfect
Moment to a narrow win in the Palmerston North Handicap (1650m). Dunn was able to sneak
home ahead of the Shane Dye mount Nazakat II.
There was also good news for fellow Australian
jockey Craig Williams who received a three month contract. Williams is permitted to ride
in Hong Kong from March 25 until June 30.
Dunn and Williams weren't the only riders to
receive good news. Weichong Marwing, Eric Legrix and Eric Saint-Martin had their contracts
extended until June 30, while Anton Marcus has a licence to ride from March 11 until June
30.
