| 08/01/02 Heavy Fine for Overweight Gardner |
| Victorian jockey Brett
Gardner was yesterday fined $400 after failing to fulfil a riding engagement as he was
overweight. Gardner was supposed to ride
Radiant Raj in the Tooheys New Class 3 Handicap at Ararat but was unable to make the
gelding's weight.
Craig Robertson was the replacement rider in the race which
was won by the Darren Weir trained Fergus My Boy. |
