| It hasn't been the ideal
start for 2002 jockey Nozi Tomizawa after being outed for careless riding at Canterbury
yesterday. The young apprentice was give
suspended until Sunday January 20 after his ride aboard Thunder Time in the De Bortoli
Wines Handicap (1200m).
Stewards reported that Tomizawa "permitted his mount to
shift in abruptly passing the 1100 metres resulting in El Snip being taken in causing
Getting On the be hampered."
His ban will run for ten days after commencing on Thursday.
The young rider will be able to resume riding on the following Sunday. |
