In form Adelaide senior rider
Jarrod Lorensini was fined after weighing in heavy after a fifth placing at Victoria Park
in Adelaide yesterday. Lorensini was fined $200
and warned he faced a "larger fine or a suspension" after he weighed in more
than half a kilogram over after his ride on the fifth placegetter Kooda Tiara in the Smoke
Free Handicap.
The hoop was charged under a breach of AR145 and was told by
Stewards that his record would be taken into consideration if there are future breaches.
Meanwhile, three jockeys were quizzed after their rides
during the meeting in Adelaide yesterday.
Kane Post, Wayne Kerford and Michael Hoppo were all asked to
explain their riding on one of their mounts.
Stewards took no further action against any of the trio and
their explanations were all noted. |
