Evergreen Collingrove Stud
based Rory's Jester remains the king of the kids after another successful season. In the latest racing season which ended on Wednesday, Rory's Jester
finished the season with 22 wins for his juveniles, more than any other.
He also finished the season locked together with Lion
Hunter for the most amount of winners in two-year-old races in Australia.
In the overall siring premiership the son of Crown Jester
again finished in the top twenty with progeny earnings for the past twelve months over
$2.5 million.
During the season Rory's Jester was represented by a
staggering 87 winners more than his rivals including Canny Lad, Rubiton, Zabeel, Royal
Academy, Dehere, Grand Lodge, Flying Spur, Marauding and Quest for Fame.
On Wednesday on the final day of the racing season two of
his progeny shone at the Brisbane meeting in Queensland.
Teebar scored a dashing class record breaking win in the
race for juveniles over 1000 metres.
The John Morissey trained colt led throughout and cleared
away to win easily by over two lengths.
A short time later the New South Wales trained Almighty
Roar, a gelding by Rory's Jester, showed plenty of fight to win at just his fourth start.
Danny Nikolic got plenty out of the gelding when required
to win the 1400 metre race.
Rory's Jester, proven on the track and in the breeding
barn, will be serving a strictly limited book of mares at Collingrove Victoria this season
at a fee of $38,500 (inc GST). |
