After news of the
unfortunate death of Prince Echo, the Eyre Peninsula breeding scene has been bolstered
with three new stallions set for the South Australia region this season. Allen Park near Wudinna in central Eyre Peninsula, announced that
the former VRC Derby winner and handy sire Raveneaux will be standing at their property.
Raveneaux's fee has been set at $880 (inc. GST).
He will replace the former leading New Zealand sire Prince
Echo who recently died after standing at Allen Park for the past few seasons after a stint
at Lakewood Stud.
Another former West Aussie stallion Hideyoshi is making the
move to South Australia. He is set to stand his first local season near Port Lincoln on
lower Eyre Peninsula.
A former Mungrup Stud based prospect, Hideyoshi will stand
at Swansdale Stud for $1,100 (inc GST).
Meanwhile, the Port Lincoln region is also welcoming the
former Adelaide Hills based sire Al Khawaaneeg.
The sire of such stars as Sportbeat and Fischer will be
standing alongside Esquilino at Annette Morrison's Grayview Stud. |
