The full brother to the record breaking Magic Million Classic winner
on the Gold Coast, Catnipped, will be running at Victoria Park in Adelaide tomorrow. Undaunted, who like Catnipped is by the juvenile siring king Rory's
Jester, will be attempting to win at his second start.
On debut the David Hall trained youngster was beaten nearly
10 lengths by the boom filly Innovation Girl at Bendigo back in mid-November last year.
However, since then Undaunted trialled in good fashion,
finishing second on a heavy track at Cranbourne earlier this year.
Both Catnipped and Undaunted, as well as the stakes
performed juvenile Bumps, are oout of the Christmas Tree mare Final Claus.
The New South Wales based broodmare is currently in foal to
Flying Spur after unfortunately missing to the Golden Slipper winner Rory's Jester, in
search of another full relation to this trio.
Undaunted will be ridden
by leading South Australian jockey Simon Price in tomorrow's Jeune at Lindsay Park
Handicap (1000m) down the straight at Victoria Park.
After drawing the outside barrier in the field of ten the
colt would be expected to come to the outside of the track.
The field contains first starters by Devaraja, Jeune, Taos,
Racer's Edge (a Group One winning son of Rory's Jester), Military Plume, Thunder Gulch and
Quest for Fame.
As well as winning the Magic Millions Classic on the
Gold Coast, Catnipped also won the Group Two Maribyrnong Plate at Flemington. (She is
pictured winning above).
