Leading international sire
Marju has found another star in Europe. Already the
sire of 115 stakes performers, Marju has unearthed a potential champion in Italy.
Marbye, a two-year-old daughter of Marju, won her third
race from four starts when she thrashed her rivals in a stakes race in Italy yesterday.
Out of the former top class race filly Hambye, Marbye gave
her rivals no chance when she bolted away to win the Premio Vittorio Crespi by three
lengths.
Trained by Bruno Grizzetti, Marbye gave local hoop Mirco
Demuro an armchair ride in the six furlong stakes event.
Marju who's standing the 2002 season at Collingrove
Victoria, is the sire of Hong Kong stars Indigenous and Man of Honour and international
Group One winning fillies My Emma and Sil Sila.
By the international siring star Last Tycoon, Marju has a
brilliant pedigree.
He is from the three time Group winning Artaius mare Flame
of Tara. At stud she is also responsible for Salsabil, Danse Royale, Flame of Athens and
Song of Tara, all impressive European stakes winners. |
