One of
New Zealand's most picturesque and valuable horse properties is on the market.
The Oaks Stud, on the outskirts of
Cambridge on New Zealand's North Island, is being sold by Michael Jarvis.
As well a number of his highly performed
gallopers are also being sold as Jarvis concentrates solely on the racing of his horses.
Moonee Valley Oaks runner-up Damaschino and
top class mares Sequel and Hill of Grace are all up for grabs. His Group winning Nureyev
colt Pure Theatre is not for sale.
The Oaks property nestled in New Zealand's
premier horse country, has the ability to house three stallions and stable no less than 50
        yearlings.
Media speculation at the time of the stud's
last sale in 1998, put the deal at NZ$6 million. |
