The service fee for one of
Australasian's hottest sires Carnegie has been set by Darley Australia. After standing at Trelawney Stud near Cambridge in New Zealand the
Arc winner and exciting young stallion prospect was retained by Sheikh Mohammed to stand
at his Australian base at Darley in New South Wales.
A son of Sadler's Wells, Carnegie had 13 starts on the
track and won seven including the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe (G1), the Prix Niel (G2) and
the Prix Eugene Adam (G2).
Standing his first season on Australian soil at Darley's
base at Collingrove Stud, Sandy Hollow, Carnegie's fee has been set at $66,000. The fee
includes the GST and the fee is payable at time of live foal.
The fees for the other Darley Australia stallions have been
set. Fantastic Light, a brilliant son of Rahy, and Kingmambo's Group One winner King's
Best are standing for $38,500. Lujain, a winner of the G1 Middle Park Stakes is priced at
$11,000, while Xaar is standing at $22,000. |
