Outstanding young sire Danehill Dancer will return to Collingrove Victoria this season at the same time
his progeny continue their strong performances on the racetrack.
The well performed son of Danehill's start to his breeding
career in Australia has been strong, but it is no real surprise after the feats he
achieved in the north.
With his first crop of runners in Europe he was crowned the
Leading First Season Sire of Europe in 2001, with some 24 winners, three more than his
nearest rival. His first crop in the Northern Hemisphere win 35 races - three at stakes
level.
Danehill Dancer has had winners in Australia, Hong Kong,
Italy, England, Malaysia, France and Ireland, while his only runner to date in New Zealand
is placed from just two starts there.
A dual Group One winner on the track Danehill Dancer won
three races at Group level during a short and illustrious career. But there's little doubt
he's best known here for his promising offspring.
Already he is the sire of this season's sizzling juvenile
star Choisir, who was a placegetter in all three legs of the two-year-old Group One triple
crown. Most good judges feel the best of Choisir is still to come!
Danehill Dancer is one of the most popular sires of
youngsters in the sunshine state and there's little wonder why. His top class performers
in Queensland include the underrated galloper Jar Jar Binks, last Saturday's winner
Damigos and the brilliant juvenile Dynamic Dancer.
Brisbane race followers were all raving about Dynamic Dancer
in December after he sizzled to an amazing win in the city. He was installed as the Magic
Millions Classic favourite but sadly for connections was injured when he finished second
at his most recent start. Don't forget this fellow's name when he returns in the spring.
During this year's Yearling Sales series around Australia his
youngsters sold for impressive amounts - up to $130,000 in fact.
Danehill Dancer will be standing at Collingrove Victoria near Nagambie for $19,250
(inc GST) with a free return. |
