The three quarter sister to
former champion mare Champagne has failed to reach her reserve during the third session of
the New Zealand Premier Sale at Karaka today. Offered
by leading local establishment Cambridge Stud, the bay filly failed to reach her reserve
and was passed in for $425,000.
The pedigree page for the filly had recently been boosted
through the New Zealand Oaks second placing for Sursum Corda.
By Zabeel, the filly is from the unraced Defensive Play
daughter of L'Quiz, who herself was also unraced.
The filly offered was also closely related to Te Akau Pearl,
a winner of the Werribee Cup and third in both an NZ Oaks and Adelaide Cup. |
