| The mighty Danehill has
climbed to the top of the tree with a new sale topper at the Premier Yearling Sale at
Karaka today. Lot 106, a bay colt from the
Diesis mare Dosthill, was offered for sale by Hamilton based Curraghmore Stud who were
acting as agent.
When the hammer fell the Australian born colt was sold for
$360,000.
The colt comes from an illustrious black type filled
international family that includes Group One winners Doyoun, Dumka and Cheers Grace.
The sale of the Danehill colt was the first of eight
yearlings to be offered by the champion of the breeding barn. His other seven offerings
are all colts. The next Danehill to enter the ring will be a colt from Haziyah as lot 176. |
