The Adelaide Sale firmly entrenched intself as the third best Yearling Sale in the country when it ended with a much better average to the previous third place holder Melbourne.

Magic Millions Adelaide Manager Rob Monsma has been working hard and has left no stone unturned in his quest for quality.

"We've worked tirelessly to get the best possible catalogue this year," Monsma said.

"I'm pleased with the finished product and it should provide for excellent buying. There are some wonderfully bred horses and some great types."

"Buyers certainly won't be disappointed," he said.

Monsma said the profile of the Adelaide Sale had grown remarkably since Magic Millions took over operations and interest from the leading vendors and buyers is now evident.

"Our sale has always been well known for its value and this year will be no different," Monsma added.

The positive vibes coming from the Magic Millions team isn't surprising when you cast your eye through the 2002 catalogue.

For the first time in the sale's history the champion New Zealand sire Zabeel will be represented. As well a yearling by the mighty Danehill is set to be sold.

The wide cross section of local and interstate sires is another highlight of the underrated sale.

Most of the country's leading vendors have now shown their confidence in the South Australian sale.
