"MAVIS" being tightened for room between "SHAMAN'S DREAM" and
"DERRINGER". D. Nikolic was notified to exercise more care when shifting ground
in future.
Shortly after this incident "DERRINGER" shifted in away from
"BRIDLECAN" resulting in "MAVIS" which was racing to the inside of
"DERRINGER" being taken in on to the heels of "SHAMAN'S DREAM",

BAY" which was following "MAVIS" was brought down.
Approaching the 800 metres "OCEAN LAKE" which was
over racing had to be checked off the heels of "TERTINA".
R. Cartwright, rider of "NORTHERN SIROCCO" which

SIROCCO'S" action, he eased the gelding down in the straight.

ensure that he has sufficient room when attempting runs in future.
