Race 1 -AVENUE PRESS MAIDEN HANDICAP 1000 METRES

Prior to the horses entering the yard, "BERNDAFRA" was examined by the club veterinary surgeon and passed fit to run.

"Our Persian Star" and "Berndafra" were slow to begin, approaching the home turn "May Run" which was hanging out took "Our Prersian Star" off his course.

Subsequent to the race the club Veterinary surgeon reported that "Bold Cavalier" was lame in the near fore leg, E Zammit Trainer of "Bold Cavalier" was notified that prior to the gelding racing again he must be in receipt of a veterinary certificate of soundness.

Race 2 - AUSTRALIAN OUTDOOR FURNITURE RESTRICTED TROPHY RACE (2) HANDICAP 1000 METRES-

Race 3 - PARKINSON ASHPHALTING OPEN TROPHY RACE 1650 METRES-

R Laming rider of "Manajoka" wished to look at the Stewards patrol video with a view to lodging an objection, after viewing the video R Laming decided not to proceed with the objection and correct weight was declared.

Race 4 - GALLY'S BUCKS DAY RESTRICTED TROPHY RACE (3) HANDICAP 1650 METRES

"Lagos" jumped away awkwardly, shortly after this "Pride of Kilcoran" and "Mega Moon" was tightened for room by "Queen Lavache" which shifted in and "Altona Downs" which shifted out.

Race 5 - CUB SPRINT SERIES HEAT 3 OPEN TROPHY RACE 1200 METRES

After receiving a report from Mrs U Clark Trainer of "Paris-Dakkar" that the gelding had played up in the float, "Paris-Dakkar" was examined by the club Veterinary Surgeon who found the gelding to be bleeding from one nostril and in his view was unfit to run "Paris-Dakkar" is not deemed to be a bleeder under the Rules of Racing.

Stewards ordered the withdrawal of "Paris-Dakkar" at 4.00pm. subsequent to the event Stewards ordered that all monies for a win/and or place and concession on "Paris-Dakkar" to be refunded.

All successful betting on horses prior to 4.00pm are subject to the following deductions in the dollar from the face value of the ticket.

Win Bets 32c - Place Bets 29c- Winning Concession Bets 30c- Doubles Bets 32c- All monies bet after Stewards declaration of withdrawal to be paid face value of ticket.

Shortly after the start "Built like Lehmann" bucked for some distance Mrs M Kirkpatrick owner trainer of "Built like Lehmann" was notified that prior to the gelding racing again, he must trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards.

Kelly Brown rider of "Risky Ripper" wished to look at the Stewards patrol video claiming her mount was denied a fair start.

After viewing the video and taking evidence from W.Churchill official starter, Kelly Brown rider and Mr B Akers the Mares trainer, Stewards deemed "Risky Ripper" a runner and correct weight was declared.

Race 6 -WAVERLEY R S L OPEN TROPHY RACE 2350 METRES -
