Race 1 - BRISEIS FUNCTION CENTRE MAIDEN HURDLE
- 3100 metres:
Approaching the 800 metres the first time, Loanshark (NZ)
had to be eased when tightened for room by Dolphin Peak, which was taken in by Cicatrix (J

protect his fellow riders in future.
Near the 700 metres, Dolphin Peak, which had been racing
tight on the inside of Wilson Road (NZ) (B Scott) for some distance then had to be checked

Cicatrix, which continued to shift in. After taking into account all the circumstances,
the Stewards took no action other than reprimanding B Scott and J Macmillan and notifying

running rail.
In the middle stages of the race, Red Fire had a tendency
to over-race.
Near the 200 metres, Striking Bob was disappointed for a
run between Bridie's Love, which shifted in slightly, and Bocce, which shifted out.
