Creek further stated that he was unable to ride the filly out due to its reluctance to race and laying in severely. MARANICE was inspected by the Veterinary Surgeon and was found to have some slight heat and swelling in its near side front fetlock joint.

G. Dorol, rider of ZIPPA RAJA, requested to view the official head-on video of the finish of the event. After doing so, in conjunction with Stewards, Correct Weight was declared.

The start of this race was delayed several minutes due to CLOSE IMITATION (C. Lever) breaking through the front of the gates. After being restrained CLOSE IMITATION underwent a Veterinary inspection and was declared fit to start. C. On jumping away LIBERAL SALLY (J. Maund) and HER HONOUR (D. Tootell) bumped.

Racing to the 300 metres DEMONDO (J. Maund) rolled off the fence momentarily, resulting in ENHANCER (S. Cahill) attempting to take a run to the inside of that gelding. As a result of DEMONDO rolling back, S. Cahill (ENHANCER) was disappointed for a run and had to steady his mount for several strides.
