TRACK: GOOD

NT 1: 2YO HANDICAP 1000 METRES 7 STARTERS

KENNY’S IDOL (T Gillett) raced greenly throughout the race. Apprentice D TURNER reported to Stewards that his mount EDGE TO EDGE had hung out badly from the 500 metre mark.

1ST KINGSFOLD FLAME 2ND MURPHY’S PRIZE 3RD TJILPI

NT 3: CLASS 2 HANDICAP 1000 METRES 6 STARTERS

COLONEL FLYER (M Cornell) slow to begin. Trainer of HIGHER POWER reported to Stewards that the gelding had pulled up sore in the near foreleg. A Veterinary Certificate of Soundness will be required before the gelding starts again.

1ST EMMAAGH 2ND ALKANZA 3RD CENTRE STORM

NT 5: CLASS 4 HANDICAP 1200 METRES 8 STARTERS

COPPER’S EDGE (M Cornell) jumped outwards as start effected coming into contact with FROZE (T Norton) hampering that gelding. FROZE (T Norton) knuckled over just after the start. BE STRONG (B Cornell) was inclined to over race in the middle stages of the race. ASSIFF (T Huish) shifted out badly in the concluding stages of the race.

NT 7: MAIDEN HANDICAP 1000 METRES 10 STARTERS

TAIL GATE (P Johnson) bucked as start effected and took no further part in the race. MR SOUL (B Cornell) and LA MEXA (B Huppatz) collided just after the start. KARESHIM (T Gillett) appeared to come into contact with the running rail at about the 200 metre mark. Subsequent to the event Trainer Ms K PETRICK was advised by Stewards that TAIL GATE was now barred from racing under Local Rule NT63(3) for a period of 2 months and at the end of that period will have to satisfactorily trial before Stewards before starting again.

1ST LA MEXA 2ND KARESHIM 3RD ANNABEL JANE

NT 9: CLASS 6 HANDICAP 1000 METRES 9 STARTERS

BAYMONDE (D Lockwood (A)) was leaning against side of starting stall as start effected resulting in the mare loosing ground at the start. GREY DESERT (M Cullen) and HARMONY MIST raced tightly in the early stages of the race.

1ST GREY DESERT 2ND BRONZED OSSIE 3RD GENERAL BEAN

NT 11: OPEN HANDICAP 1200 METRES 12 STARTERS

SARRAZIN (M Cullen) was slow to begin. ELUSIVE EXPRESS (M Cornell) shifted inwards shortly after straightening inconveniencing DANAPAC (P Johnson). Jockey M CORNELL rider of ELUSIVE EXPRESS was reprimanded by Stewards and was instructed by Stewards that he must make a greater effort to keep his mounts on a straight course in future. T NORTON rider of JEST IN TIME reported to Stewards that his mount had raced ungenerously throughout the race. SARRAZIN (M Cullen) had difficulty obtaining a clear run in the final stages of the race. PRINCE DUBAI (D Oakford (A)) raced wide throughout the race.

1ST ZILLIONAIRE 2ND RICH SKY (NZ) 3RD EIRE JESTER

All winners were swabbed.

GENERAL

Trainer C GREEN was fined the sum of $50 under NT113 presenting TJILPI with blinkers when he was not approved to wear that gear.

Trainer G SEARLE was fined the sum of $50 under NT112 presenting AWESOME DIAMOND without tail chain.

Jockey M CORNELL was fined the sum of $100 for Improper Behaviour after an incident in the Stewards Room.
