Alice Springs (NT) - Tuesday 6 November 2001

Weather: Fine
Track: Good

NT 1: 2YO 1000 METRES 8 STARTERS

Jockey T HUISH replaced D OAKFORD (A) as the rider of NORTH RAIL when D OAKFORD (A) was late arriving on course.

KINGSFOLD FLAME (M Cornell) was fractious in stall prior to start. KENNY'S IDOL (T Gillett) jumped inwards as start effected forcing BEECEES (T Norton) onto CROWN PACIFIC (B Cornell). NORTH RAIL (T Huish) attempted to buck shortly after the start colliding with KINGSFOLD FLAME (M Cornell). NORTH RAIL (T Huish) ran off on home turn.

Mrs S ARNOLD trainer of NORTH RAIL was advised by Stewards that the colt will have to pass a satisfactory barrier trial before being nominated again.
