NT 1: CLASS D HANDICAP 1400 METRES 8 STARTERS

NT 2: CLASS 4 HANDICAP 1400M METRES 4 STARTERS

REPEATS (D Oakford (a)) was slow to begin. REPEATS (D Oakford (a)) shifted inwards when struck with the whip at about the 100 metre mark momentarily hampering COPPER’S EDGE (M Cornell). Apprentice D OAKFORD informed by Stewards that he must take greater care and make much more effort to keep his mounts on a straight course.

1ST SONG OF RIO 2ND JAY ARE ARE 3RD COPPER’S EDGE

NT 4: CLASS 3 HANDICAP 1000 METRES 6 STARTERS

SKYE KAYJOY (B Cornell) knuckled over as start effected. SKYE KAYJOY (B Cornell) hung out throughout the race.

1ST KUCITE 2ND SKYE KAYJOY 3RD COLONEL FLYER

NT 6: CLASS D HANDICAP 1000 METRES 5 STARTERS

SIR ROMEO (T Gillett) jumped in the air as start effected. CLASSIC KHAN (S Burrows) raced very greenly throughout the race and appeared to come into contact with the running rail at about the 400 metre mark.

NT 8: MAIDEN HANDICAP 1000 METRES 6 STARTERS

CENTRE DANCER (T Gillett) jumped outwards as start effected forcing SEVERENCE (B Cornell) onto BURRAN (D Oakford (a)) who in turn came into contact with PRINCESS ARK (G Lefoe). Jockey T GILLETT was informed by Stewards that he must make himself much more aware at the start of races and have full control over his mounts. He was also informed that Stewards may not be so lenient in future. BURRAN (D Oakford (a)) raced very greenly in the first 400 metres of the race.

1ST AWESOME VENTO 2ND LA MEXA 3RD BURRAN

NT 10: CLASS 5 HANDICAP 1100 METRES 5 STARTERS

PADARICO (B Cornell) was slow to begin.

1ST FOREVER JUDE 2ND HURRICANE 3RD PADARICO

All winners were swabbed.

FINES

Jockey G LEFOE was fined the sum of $250 under ARR160B Possession and using a mobile phone in the vicinity of the Jockeys Room.

Mr V OLDFIELD the trainer of the horses GREY DESERT scratched from Race NT2 and FLOCKHART scratched from Race NT8 will be required to present to Stewards a Veterinary Certificate of Fitness before either horse starts again.
