who was a star filly on the track, has made a great start to her new life as a broodmare
with her first runner Campaignor now a dual winner. Fans
of Not Related get the opportunity to buy into the Group One winning family when her
latest addition a filly yearling by Snaadee is offered as the final lot of the Select
Session in the Adelaide Magic Millions Yearling Sale on February 19.
A daughter of Family Ties, Not Related was a star on the
track. Her best win came in the Group One Sires’ Produce Stakes in Melbourne. Other
big wins came thanks to the Group Three Frances Tressady Stakes, Group Three Diamond
Jubilee Stakes, Group Three Christmas Handicap and the listed Malaysia Airlines Stakes.
Offered by leading New South Wales stud Emirates Park, the
filly is by the Group Two racetrack performer Snaadee. He is a brother to the stakes
winner Russian Bond. At stud the son of Danzig is the sire of such high class gallopers as
Adeewin, Snadame, Sukram, Magdalena, Snaabelle and Finally.
The Not Related filly will be the first of three yearlings
to be offered by Snaadee. The other two, one filly and one colt, will be sold the
following day during the Summer Select Session on February 20.
The Northern Dancer blood gets a good run in the
filly’s family. Danzig, the sire of Snaadee, is of course a son of Northern Dancer,
while Family Ties, the sire of Not Related, is from a daughter of Northern Dancer. |
