Before Boxing Day there was enough reason to be already
attracted to lot 18, a brown or grey colt by Kenvain. He was a full brother to the then
New Years Gift runner-up Ken Cheval.
But the colts valued exploded when on December 26 his
older full brother scored a decisive win in the Group Three Christmas Handicap at
Cheltenham Park.
The colt, catalogued as lot number 18, is being offered by
Lynden Burns Eagle Ridge Thoroughbreds acting as agents for Premier Thoroughbreds.
Perfect Idea, a three time winner in Adelaide
(from six wins overall), trained on after winning two races in her initial preparation as
a two-year-old. She is a half sister to the handy stakes performer Bon Poupee, a winner at
Flemington, Caulfield and Moonee Valley.
The colt is from the direct family of the former brilliant
two-year-old Symphony Lad (Maribyrnong Trial Stakes), now better known for his siring of
handy types.
From a prolific winning family the colt is qualified to
race for thousands of extra dollars in bonus payments in both South Australia and Victoria
with SABIS and VOBIS eligibility.
