Another
highlight of a cracking Magic Millions Adelaide Yearling Sale is the fourth foal of the
Melbourne stakes winning two-year-old Marwell Lady. One
of eight yearlings to be offered by Peter and Valmai Tooles Ducatoon Park, the bay
colt is by the king of juveniles in Australia, the mighty Rorys Jester.
The SABIS and Vobis qualified youngster is therefore a full
brother to last seasons exciting juvenile Jestarella Boy, a winner of the Peters
Drumstick Stakes and runner up in the colts and geldings division of the Blue Diamond
Preview (G3).
Marwell Lady, a winner of the listed Gwyn Nursery Stakes at
two, is the dam of three runners, all of which are black type performers.
As well as Jestarella Boy, she is the dam of Maribyrnong
Trial Stakes placegetter Jollys Folly and the Gimcrack Stakes placegetter La Bird.
A daughter of Lord Seymour, Marwell Lady is out of an
unraced Century mare who is a half sister to Newcastle Gold Cup winner Indian Raj, Edward
Manifold Stakes winner and Blue Diamond Stakes runner up Stage Hit (the dam of Group Two
winners Irradiate and Encores and listed winning sire Sir Laurence) and stakes placed
Miami Vice.
Rorys Jester is the sire of top performers including
Chortle, Aragen, Racers Edge, Isca, Apollo Wonder, North Boy, Moss Rocket, Its
a Giggle, Happy Giggle, Catnipped, Spargo and Speed Week, just to name a few.
The bay colt is one of twelve yearlings by Rorys
Jester, which will be going under the hammer in the Morphettville sales complex over the
first two sessions of the sale. |
