Ossie Cossie
was more than just a top class race mare. She quickly gained a cult following and was one
of the countrys most popular during an illustrious career. A daughter of the underrated Mister C, Ossie Cossie won a staggering
19 races, many of which came on city tracks.
A stakes performer in Melbourne and Adelaide, Ossie Cossie
is a half sister to the dam of current day top class stakes performer Grey Regent, a
winner of nine races.
On August 23, 2000 Ossie Cossie foaled down a stunning
chestnut colt by the exciting young shuttle sire Timber Country and at about 10 minutes
past one on February 18, the colts future will be decided in about three minutes of
bidding.
Timber Country, a Breeders Cup winner in the United
States, was a high class performing son of the brilliant Woodman.
From the sensational broodmare Fall Aspen, Timber Country
is a half brother to no less than eight stakes winners. Theres little doubt Fall
Aspen is the Eight Carat of the Northern Hemisphere.
The chestnut colt catalogued as lot 3 is being offered by
Romsey based Erinvale Thoroughbreds, who are acting as agents for DHK Investments Pty Ltd. |
