The Lindsay Park Guineas winner Liberty Rose is one of
South Australias most popular gallopers. One of the most successful members of the
Group One Racing Club Syndicate, the daughter of Royal Academy has a three quarter sister
who is catalogued for sale at this months Adelaide Magic Millions Yearling Sale.
A member of the quality Collingrove Stud draft the bay
filly (pictured above) is set to be one of the star fillies during the early selling on
the first of three days of selling.
The fillys dam comes from a great family. A winning
daughter of Sir Tristram she is a half sister to the stakes winners Equal Rights and
Freedom Fields, both Group Three winners. Freedom Fields is the dam of Group One placed
Liberty Hall and the unraced dam of Liberty Rose.
Another high class galloper in the family is the former
brilliant kiwi based performer Facing the Music. A Guineas Group One winner she went on to
run second in the Group One New Zealand Oaks at three.
Royal Academy is the sire of Group One stars Val Royal,
Oscar Schindler, Ali-Royal, Carmine Lake, Sleepytime and Kenwood Melody. But its one
of his youngsters that is keeping his name in the headlines as we speak.
Bel Esprit, a brilliant youngster from the John Symons
stable, is killing them in Melbournes feature two-year-old races. He will start
favourite in the million dollar Blue Diamond Stakes later this month. |
