| Despite being
narrowly beaten at Sandown this afternoon Milkshake will be sent to Adelaide for the Magic
Millions Classic next month. Colin Little, the
trainer of the Encosta de Lago colt, said the grey galloper would be sent to South
Australia without another run.
"If he pulls up alright and everything goes well in the
meantime then we will head to Adelaide."
"He would have to gain a run of course," Little
said.
After sitting third early the colt worked home nicely but was
unable to hold out the finishing burst of the Tony McEvoy trained Fine Society, who scored
a long neck win in the Hurricane Sky Super VOBIS Handicap over 1200 metres. |
