A filly by the former champion racehorse Peintre Celebre has sold for
a high price during the fourth session of the Magic Millions Yearling Sale on the Gold
Coast. When the hammer fell after a multiple
bidding dual around the sales complex, the price had reached $375,000.
Offered by Scone based Yarraman Park, the chestnut yearling
is the fifth foal of the Slew o'Gold mare Deja Slew and was sold to Irish based
veterinarian and bloodstock buyer Dr Demi O'Byrne, who was buying on behalf of Coolmore
Stud's John Magnier and Michael Tabor.
The mare has already been represented by the Trading Range
galloper Bull Market, who was placed in the Carlton Slipper Stakes at Gosford. Bull Market
is one of three runners for the mare, the other two are also winners. |
